Beau
A pothead as I have already mentioned. The other day I received a science table in the mail which, if you don't know, is covered in questionable chemicals and has cabinets full of God-only knows what. Though my town is currently lacking a police station I felt uncomfortable having such an incriminating piece of furniture in my possession and so I put it up for sale in the pawn shop run by two colorblind llamas of questionable morale. Right when I had finished this Beau entered the store and his half-lidded eyes immediately lit up and showed some signs of life when he saw the "science table" and he ran over to it, standing and staring like a child at a toy store window. He asked if he should buy the table and I said yes blinded to my friend's obvious problem by the possibility of putting more bells in the bank. To conclude, I am afraid my dear antelope friend is into much harder stuff now and I am deeply ashamed of the part I played in enabling him.
Pot is indeed a gateway drug.
Bluebear
Still blue and still a bear, still self-explanatory. She invites me over to her house almost daily to get my expert opinion on it. Still won't sell me her tea set or her table.
Coco
A breath of fresh air compared to the other crazies I am forced to deal with on a daily basis. Our friendship has flowered over our many common interests and she now drops in at my place almost daily, unannounced. I am okay with this though because she is the only one I do not hate or feel threatened by and she gives me gifts.
Elvis
I couldn't help but notice he has two thrones in his house which is a little arrogant and douchey. I don't like it when people flaunt their wealth to those with less than them and as mayor of this barmy town I felt inspired to do something to fix this problem.I wrote him a note asking if he would kindly accept this "throne" in place of one of his others and inside I included a toilet, hoping he would get the joke. It appears he did because upon entering his house a few days later one throne was missing and in it's place was a white porcelain version of it's red and gold brethren. (I have yet to receive the now missing throne.)
He has also taken up the hobby of butterfly collecting but is clearly embarrassed about it as he obtains his specimens in the guise of asking me to catch one for his "niece". At first I did not find this odd in the least and was happy to oblige but I have neither seen nor heard any proof of his unknown sibling's daughter and the butterflies have been appearing in his house one by one after I catch them for him.
All in all, he's kind of an asshole but I am lenient on this particular character flaw of his because it must be extremely hard on him, not being able to remember anything. He asked me to bury another time capsule for him about six days ago and has yet to ask me to dig it up for him. I am hoping this is because his memory problems are improving and so he feels no need to dig it up but probably he has just forgotten about it.
Lucha
Is, I think, the most normal occupant in my town. He stays active and is definitely sporty, a soft-spoken guy who keeps to himself but is friendly towards everyone. I am glad to report that he is spending much less time with Moe (living right next door to him Lucha probably knows even more about Moe's crimes than I myself do) but I fear our relationship has become strained over his insistence that I catch him a stinkbug and my being unable to find him one despite my very best efforts.
Mint
Very hard to find as she spends much of her times in the shops. I have recently been able to track her down to speak with her and she invited me to her house for a visit. I found a dusty old vision tester (that she had bought from me months earlier) in her drawer which she claimed she forgot she even had and so gave it to me. There wasn't much room to move and I fear my chipmunk friend may have moved from pack rat to full-blown hoarder. I decided to try and further reduce her problem by purchasing her display shelf (which Bluebear would not sell me).
Mira
Friendly and pretty freaking decent which is a blessing because her house is located three feet to the left of mine. Her house was looking a bit sparse so I sent her some furniture I though matched her theme. She enjoys gardening with me and other than a few friendly chats I don't have much to report on our superhero friend.
Moe
I am afraid Moe's pedo problem has gotten much worse and he is now targeting other girls in the village. I have been collecting evidence to use against him and will give a full update on this fiasco at a later date.
Pompom
I have become a little worried about Pompom's mental state. In our dwindling conversation she has mentioned frequently how hard it is for her living alone but was glad to have such super neighbors. In recent weeks though, she has been secluding herself. She rarely comes out of her house except to spend hours staring at furniture in the pawn shop. She doesn't speak to anyone else in the town anymore and even I have trouble getting her to talk to me. When I ask if there's anything I can do for her she never replies. I have deep seated fears that Moe may have something to do with this drastic change in her normally bubbly personality and am now considering the possible eviction of Moe.
I hate to end on such a terrible note but I must take my leave and go back to solving the troubles of my town.
